What we here is a terrific outing from Noir director Robert Siodmak. Durbin plays the ultimate jilted dame, sitting alone in a nightclub on Christmas Eve, recalling her sordid breakup, via flashback, to an army officer. Both Kelly and Durbin do surprisingly well out of their normal character parts
